SERPY is a Search-Engine-Result-Page report generating software which automates the time-consuming process of generating SERP reports.
In this case study, we will explore how SERPY solves the challenges of manual SERP reporting, how it was developed, demonstration, and the benefits it provides to enterprise companies.
Generating SERP reports manually is a time-consuming and error-prone process that can waste SEO executives’ time and resources. It involves finding keyword rankings and creating a report from scratch, which can take several hours.
To address these challenges, SERPY was developed to automate the entire SERP reporting process, enabling companies to generate reports quickly, accurately, and with minimal effort.
SERPY was developed using Python and Selenium.
It works by first providing it a CSV file containing the list of keywords.
Then you run SERPY and provide it the URL of your website and which Google TLD you want to conduct your keyword research on.
Then you click the Submit button.
One thing that is not available yet in the current version SERPY is automatic selection of the region from the search settings. (´。＿。｀)
It will be available in the future versions of SERPY.

Once SERPY goes through all the keywords, it exports a CSV file with the list of keywords, their rankings and the date like this.
And the exported CSV file lands in the same directory as SERPY.
With SERPY, the company I developed this software for has reduced monthly SERP reporting time and effort by up to 72 hours, freeing up valuable resources for other important tasks.
